How to Apply
Close-up of a wooden piece with a smooth, finished surface, showing natural wood grain, with some finish applied. In the background, there are rougher, untreated pieces of wood.

Forestglow is designed for woodworkers who want a finish that feels like wood, not a heavy surface coating. It’s forgiving to apply, easy to maintain, and made to look better with time and touch.

Why Forestglow

  • Hardens in the wood for a natural feel (not a surface film)

  • Wipe on, wipe off, buff as desired — simple, repeatable results

  • Easy to refresh when the piece looks thirsty

What it Does

  • This is not a high-gloss, build a film finish

  • For heavy water exposure or standing water, choose an appropriate film finish.

  • Refresh coats are simple: clean, apply thin, wipe, buff.

  • Coverage: Approximately 500–650 sq ft per quart, depending on wood species, surface preparation, and application method.
In controlled testing on smooth, closed-grain surfaces, coverage has exceeded 700 sq ft per quart.
